Deckers Outdoor Posts Upbeat Earnings, Joins Guardant Health, Ross Stores And Other Big Stocks Moving Higher On Friday

U.S. stocks were higher, with the Nasdaq Composite gaining around 80 points on Friday.

Shares of Deckers Outdoor Corporation (NYSE:DECK) rose sharply during Friday's session after the company reported better-than-expected quarterly financial results.

Deckers Outdoor reported quarterly earnings of $4.95 per share which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $2.90 by 70.69%. Quarterly sales clocked in at $959.758 million, beating the analyst consensus estimate of $887.548 million by 8.14% and representing a 21.25% increase over sales of $791.571 million from the same period last year, according to data from Benzinga Pro.

Deckers Outdoor shares climbed 11.6% to $1,009.99 on Friday.

Merus N.V. (NASDAQ:MRUS) jumped 30% to $57.26 after the company announced the publication of an abstract regarding petosemtamab in combination with pembrolizumab on the 2024 ASCO Annual Meeting website.
Magnite, Inc. (NASDAQ:MGNI) shares rose 12.3% to $12.43. B of A Securities analyst Omar Dessouky upgraded Magnite from Neutral to Buy and raised the price target from $13 to $15.
Oklo Inc. (NYSE:OKLO) gained 11.8% to $8.48 after the company announced a collaboration with Wyoming Hyperscale to supply 100 megawatts of clean power to a data center campus.
Guardant Health, Inc. (NASDAQ:GH) gained 11.2% to $25.05 after the company announced that the FDA Advisory Committee Panel recommends approval of Shield blood test for colorectal cancer screening.
CI&T Inc. (NYSE:CINT) climbed 11.2% to $4.3950. Wedbush analyst Moshe Katri initiated coverage on CI&T with an Outperform rating and announced a price target of $5.
Azul S.A. (NYSE:AZUL) gained 9% to $6.18. Azul and GOL airlines disclosed a commercial cooperation agreement that will connect their flight networks in Brazil through a codeshare agreement.
Ross Stores, Inc. (NASDAQ:ROST) gained 8.2% to $142.68 after the company reported better-than-expected earnings for its first quarter and increased its profit forecast for the year.
ZIM Integrated Shipping Services Ltd. (NYSE:ZIM) jumped 7.4% to $20.85.
Cool Company Ltd. (NYSE:CLCO) rose 7.4% to $13.02.
PDD Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ:PDD) gained 7.2% to $164.64. Goldman Sachs analyst Ronald Keung upgraded PDD Holdings from Neutral to Buy and raised the price target from $145 to $184.
Gannett Co., Inc. (NYSE:GCI) rose 5.1% to $3.6250. Citigroup analyst Jason Bazinet upgraded Gannett from Sell to Neutral and raised the price target from $1.95 to $3.6.
