Tesla, Inc. (NASDAQ:TSLA) will cut approximately 600 more jobs at its manufacturing facilities and engineering offices in Fremont and Palo Alto, California as part of its global restructuring strategy announced in April.

The Details:

According to a Forbes report, Tesla filed a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) Act notice on May 13 stating it will lay off 378 employees at the company's Fremont-based manufacturing plant and 223 employees at its engineering headquarters in Palo Alto over a two-week period beginning June 20.

The most recent lay-offs target roles from entry-level positions to directors and several departments, including factory workers, software developers and robotics engineers. Among the positions being eliminated are the directors of environmental health and safety and user experience design in Fremont and two directors of technical programs in Palo Alto.
