Ovintiv (NYSE:OVV) reported quarterly earnings of $1.43 per share which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $1.36 by 5.15 percent. This is a 21.43 percent decrease over earnings of $1.82 per share from the same period last year. The company reported quarterly sales of $2.352 billion which missed the analyst consensus estimate of $2.467 billion by 4.66 percent. This is a 7.80 percent decrease over sales of $2.551 billion the same period last year.
