American Finl Gr (NYSE:AFG) reported quarterly earnings of $2.76 per share which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $2.70 by 2.22 percent. This is a 4.5 percent decrease over earnings of $2.89 per share from the same period last year. The company reported quarterly sales of $1.546 billion which missed the analyst consensus estimate of $1.718 billion by 9.99 percent. This is a 7.59 percent increase over sales of $1.437 billion the same period last year.
