AssetMark Financial Agrees To Be Acquired By Private Equity Firm GTCR For $35.25 Per Share In Cash

AssetMark stockholders will receive $35.25 per share in cash, which represents a total equity valuation of approximately $2.7 billion. Under the terms of the agreement, GTCR will acquire a 100% interest in the Company. AssetMark's Board of Directors has unanimously approved the transaction and recommended the transaction to its stockholders. 

Upon completion of the transaction, AssetMark's common stock will no longer be listed on any public market.
