Watsco Q1 EPS $2.17 Misses $2.28 Estimate, Sales $1.56B Miss $1.59B Estimate

Watsco (NYSE:WSO) reported quarterly earnings of $2.17 per share which missed the analyst consensus estimate of $2.28 by 4.82 percent. This is a 23.32 percent decrease over earnings of $2.83 per share from the same period last year. The company reported quarterly sales of $1.56 billion which missed the analyst consensus estimate of $1.59 billion by 1.64 percent. This is a 0.84 percent increase over sales of $1.55 billion the same period last year.
