MSC Industrial Direct Co (NYSE:MSM) reported quarterly earnings of $1.18 per share which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $1.16 by 1.72 percent. This is a 18.62 percent decrease over earnings of $1.45 per share from the same period last year. The company reported quarterly sales of $935.30 million which missed the analyst consensus estimate of $946.55 million by 1.19 percent. This is a 2.74 percent decrease over sales of $961.63 million the same period last year.
