Royal Bank of Canada (NYSE:RY) reported quarterly adjusted earnings of $2.09 per share which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $2.06 by 1.65 percent. This is a 7.35 percent decrease over earnings of $2.26 per share from the same period last year. The company reported quarterly sales of $9.91 billion which missed the analyst consensus estimate of $9.93 billion by 0.22 percent. This is a 11.53 percent decrease over sales of $11.20 billion the same period last year.
