Bank of Nova Scotia (NYSE:BNS) reported quarterly earnings of $1.24 per share which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $1.21 by 2.64 percent. This is a 7.31 percent decrease over earnings of $1.34 per share from the same period last year. The company reported quarterly sales of $6.20 billion which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $6.12 billion by 1.24 percent. This is a 4.29 percent increase over sales of $5.94 billion the same period last year.
