Main Street Capital Analysts Boost Their Forecasts After Strong Q4 Results

Main Street Capital Corporation (NYSE:MAIN) reported upbeat fourth-quarter financial results on Thursday.

Main Street Capital posted adjusted earnings of $1.12 per share, beating market estimates of $1.03 per share. The company’s quarterly sales came in at $129.31 million versus expectations of $125.68 million, according to data from Benzinga Pro.

Net asset value was $29.20 per share at Dec. 31, 2023, up from $28.33 per share at Sept. 30, 2023.

Main Street Capital shares fell 0.9% to close at $45.35 on Friday.

These analysts made changes to their price targets on Main Street Capital after the company reported quarterly results.

• Truist Securities raised the price target on Main Street Capital from $43 to $45. Truist Securities analyst Michael Ramirez maintained a Hold rating.
• Oppenheimer boosted the price target on Main Street Capital from $41 to $43. Oppenheimer analyst Mitchel Penn maintained a Perform rating.
