Kennametal Q2 EPS $0.30 May Not Be Comparable To $0.25 Estimate, Sales $495.32M Miss $498.64M Estimate

Kennametal (NYSE:KMT) reported quarterly earnings of $0.30 per share which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $0.25 by 20 percent. This is a 11.11 percent increase over earnings of $0.27 per share from the same period last year. The company reported quarterly sales of $495.32 million which missed the analyst consensus estimate of $498.64 million by 0.67 percent. This is a 0.36 percent decrease over sales of $497.12 million the same period last year.
