American Finl Gr (NYSE:AFG) reported quarterly earnings of $2.84 per share which missed the analyst consensus estimate of $2.90 by 2.07 percent. This is a 5.02 percent decrease over earnings of $2.99 per share from the same period last year. The company reported quarterly sales of $1.73 billion which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $1.66 billion by 4.34 percent. This is a 6.72 percent increase over sales of $1.62 billion the same period last year.
