Quest Diagnostics (NYSE:DGX) reported quarterly earnings of $2.15 per share which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $2.11 by 1.9 percent. This is a 8.59 percent increase over earnings of $1.98 per share from the same period last year. The company reported quarterly sales of $2.29 billion which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $2.25 billion by 1.55 percent. This is a 1.93 percent decrease over sales of $2.33 billion the same period last year.
