Kadant (NYSE:KAI) reported quarterly earnings of $2.69 per share which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $2.27 by 18.5 percent. This is a 13.03 percent increase over earnings of $2.38 per share from the same period last year. The company reported quarterly sales of $244.18 million which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $234.01 million by 4.35 percent. This is a 8.76 percent increase over sales of $224.51 million the same period last year.
