Alphabet, General Motors And 3 Stocks To Watch Heading Into Tuesday

With U.S. stock futures trading higher this morning on Tuesday, some of the stocks that may grab investor focus today are as follows:

  • Wall Street expects Alphabet Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG) to report quarterly earnings at $1.45 per share on revenue of $75.87 billion after the closing bell. Alphabet shares rose 0.8% to $139.00 in after-hours trading.
  • Analysts expect Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) to earn $2.65 per share on revenue of $54.50 billion for the latest quarter. The company will release earnings after the markets close. Microsoft shares rose 0.5% to $330.98 in after-hours trading.
  • TrueBlue, Inc. (NYSE:TBI) posted weaker-than-expected results for its third quarter. TrueBlue shares dipped 19.5% to $11.00 in the after-hours trading session.

  • Before the markets open, Verizon Communications Inc. (NYSE:VZ) is projected to report quarterly earnings at $1.18 per share on revenue of $33.25 billion. Verizon shares fell 0.3% to $31.30 in after-hours trading.
  • Analysts expect General Motors Company (NYSE:GM) to report quarterly earnings at $1.88 per share on revenue of $43.68 billion before the opening bell. GM shares gained 0.4% to $29.34 in after-hours trading.
