Bank of Nova Scotia (TSX:BNS) reported quarterly earnings of $1.73 per share which missed the analyst consensus estimate of $1.74 by 0.57 percent. This is a 17.62 percent decrease over earnings of $2.10 per share from the same period last year. The company reported quarterly sales of $8.09 billion which missed the analyst consensus estimate of $8.15 billion by 0.74 percent. This is a 3.73 percent increase over sales of $7.80 billion the same period last year.
