ALLETE (NYSE:ALE) reported quarterly earnings of $0.90 per share which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $0.78 by 15.38 percent. This is a 34.33 percent increase over earnings of $0.67 per share from the same period last year. The company reported quarterly sales of $533.40 million which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $378.53 million by 40.91 percent. This is a 42.96 percent increase over sales of $373.10 million the same period last year.
