Westlake Chemical (NYSE:WLKP) reported quarterly earnings of $0.34 per share which missed the analyst consensus estimate of $0.36 by 5.56 percent. This is a 27.66 percent decrease over earnings of $0.47 per share from the same period last year. The company reported quarterly sales of $264.18 million which missed the analyst consensus estimate of $287.47 million by 8.10 percent. This is a 41.14 percent decrease over sales of $448.79 million the same period last year.
