Minneapolis Mayor Deprioritizes Psychedelics: 'We Should Be In The Business Of Helping People'

• Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey recently signed an executive order effectively deprioritizing criminal prosecution for possession, use, purchase, cultivation and engaging in practices with “entheogenic plants or plant compounds."
• The order also averts the use of local resources in support of federal and state actions against the substances “unless required by law.” The edict only applies to “natural” substances and excludes any synthetic ones. Moreover, it doesn’t refer to them as “psychedelics,” but instead as “naturally-occurring psychoactive compounds” or “entheogens.” Keep reading HERE.

German Company Sells And Ships LSD Prodrugs Via DHL... And They Arrive!

• German company Acid Berlin is selling a reportedly legal LSD prodrug and shipping it through DHL Group (OTC:DHLGY) to clients based in Berlin. 
• The company seems to be leaning on a legal loophole as Germany’s Narcotic Act (BtMG), the New Psychoactive Substances Act (NpSG) and the Drugs Act (AMG) do not explicitly prohibit 1D-LSD. Order amounts start at five or 10 and go up to no less than 500 for microdose capsules and 250 for either “extra-dose” pellets or “normal-dose” 150 microgram blotters. Read more HERE.

Wiz Khalifa Opens MLB Game Tripping On Magic Mushrooms

• Renowned rapper and fervent cannabis advocate Wiz Khalifa took center stage this week by throwing out the first pitch at a Pittsburgh Pirates baseball game. However, it did not take long for controversy to break out. 
• In a couple of pre-game tweets, Khalifa hinted that cannabis — a given when it comes to Wiz — wasn't the only substance in his system at the time.

Psychedelics ETF Weekly Performance

AdvisorShares Psychedelics ETF (NYSE:PSIL) opened Monday, July 24, at $1.94, dropping from prior Friday’s closing at $1.99. During the morning, the number dropped to $1.92, after which it began to gradually recover to the current $1.96.

On July 17, it opened at $2.04, essentially maintaining the previous Monday’s opening price.

The past week’s highest was on Tuesday, July 18, reaching $2.06, and lowest was on Thursday, July 20 at $1.95. Prior week’s lowest was $1.97 and highest was $2.06.

The ETF’s yearly price range is set between $4.35 and $1.65.
