Veritiv (NYSE:VRTV) reported quarterly earnings of $5.00 per share which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $4.47 by 11.86 percent. This is a 2.34 percent decrease over earnings of $5.12 per share from the same period last year. The company reported quarterly sales of $1.50 billion which missed the analyst consensus estimate of $1.76 billion by 14.77 percent. This is a 19.27 percent decrease over sales of $1.86 billion the same period last year.
