ABB (NYSE:ABB) reported quarterly earnings of $0.55 per share which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $0.51 by 7.84 percent. This is a 77.42 percent increase over earnings of $0.31 per share from the same period last year. The company reported quarterly sales of $7.86 billion which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $7.49 billion by 4.93 percent. This is a 12.84 percent increase over sales of $6.96 billion the same period last year.
